Why Self-Hosting Sanctuary?

Coming up with names is difficult and I had a few drinks!
Really though ,to me, it's about creating a refuge from the unpredictable nature of cloud-based services, experimenting with self-hosting, and building a more secure and self-reliant online environment.
Digital homesteading, in a sense.

Why does this site exist?

In a way this site is meant to help document projects I would otherwise forget how to reproduce, but also to share bits of knowledge with others who may be trying to accomplish the same thing.

What are your images on this site so terrible?

I used AI to quickly create them, and though they worked for the topic. I'm not concerned about the poorly generated text, to me they work just fine!
